Kerith Of Greyhawk

Kerith’s mother, Leilana, was a high priestess of Hieronymous in the township of Laughlin.

Kerith’s father, Darius, was the captain of the town’s guard. Their duties brought them together and they soon feel madly in love with each other. Their stations in life kept them apart, though, and their forbidden union was kept hidden, including their son’s birth. Kerith’s parents can not marry until Leilana’s mother, Edweena, isn’t around to disapprove of their joining.

As Kerith grew up, he was taught both the ways of their religion and also the ways of combat. This dual-natured upbringing imparted a unique perspective on life: to honor all life and respect others’ right to it, while at the same time protecting the rights of those who cannot always stand up to those that would take that right away.

While growing up, he had several altercations where he stood up for a classmate who was being picked on, or who’s feelings were not being considered as equally as another’s. This didn’t always make him the most friends, but it won him the respect of many of his peers.

Kerith carries this lifelong dedication to protecting the innocent and punishing those who would take that life away from them. Fully equipped, he rides forth to make the world a better place.
